Dobro jutro salata / Good morning salad

— Please scroll down for an English version —

CAM00122-1Mi smo u ovom slučaju stavili: cherry paradajz, papriku, kuvani kukuruz šećerac, crveni (plavi kupus), krastavac, masline i dimljeni tofu.

During the summer, we often ate this kind of salad for breakfast. Refreshing salad full of fresh vegetables is a great choice to start a day. Ingredients doesn’t always have to be the same, different variations are possible and desirable. The only goal is to munch a nice amount of tasty vitamins.

In this particular salad we used: cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, boiled sweet corn, red (blue cabbage), cucumber, olives and smoked tofu. To keep us full a little longer, we sprinkled over virgin olive oil. You can also add umeboshi vinegar, pepper, oregano or other spices to taste.

Of course, some dressing can be also added: tahini paste, peanut butter, tofu dressing, sour cream …

Enjoy!
